Mainstage Show

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration remains, in many ways, their most innovative, setting the standards and rules of modern musical theatre. In a Western territory just after the turn of the 20th century, a high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys provides a colorful background for Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, a feisty farm girl, to play out their love story. Their romantic journey, as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road, contrasts with the comic exploits of brazen Ado Annie and hapless Will Parker in a musical adventure embracing hope, determination, and the promise of a new land.

In the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, stories of wonder and strangeness surround the legend of a mighty headless Hessian. When the humble schoolteacher Ichabod Crane vies for the hand of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, the townsfolk might protest, but it is ultimately the Horseman who will decide Ichabod’s fate.

“A lively blend of gothic terror and tongue-in-cheek humor that ably captures Irving’s story and demonstrates why it remains so compelling.” – Star Tribune

The longest running off-Broadway revue in history has been revised for the 21st century! This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

“Strikes the perfect balance of the cerebral and the comic. Get on board – it’s a great ride.” – Houstonian Magazine

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Bean

This was my first visit to this adorable little theater in Biddeford. We went to see the local production of Calendar Girls. I loved the wide wooden stairs, the interior has been well cared for. It's definitely an old building but it is beautiful inside. The actors did a fantastic job! I look forward to seeing more plays here.

I have been here on many occasions. Some as viewer and at times a participant. This place has some great history. Lots of many different talents have taken this stage. If you ever get a chance to visit, ask working staff about the lady that peacefully haunts our theater!

We bought our tickets online for a Sunday matinee. Ordering and seat selection was pretty straightforward. Will call pick-up was a volunteer on the stairs on the way up into the theater. The theater itself is charming and has a newer sound and lighting system.
